I am a Baptist minister turned stay-at-home-mom. But don't let that word "Baptist" concern you. I am not your everyday Baptist. After all, I am an ordained WOMAN minister. Yes, some Baptists actually do ordain women! I am a freedom loving, historical Baptist and I affiliate myself with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
I have been married to my husband for almost 6 years, and we have one child. After three years in full time ministry, I gave birth to my son, and my life was forever changed! While I cherish the time that I spent journeying with the congregation where I served, I know that my calling for this season of life is to be with my son full time. However, I still have a heart for sharing the Good News of God's amazing grace with others, especially with women. While serving in church ministry, I discovered a passion for ministry with women and children. It is my hope that this blog will be an encouragement to women in all seasons of life.
